Herb King Pharmaceutical Group (referred to as “HKPG” or “the Group”) was formed on 18th August, 1999 in British Virgin Islands. As at 30th June 2005, the accumulated investment is over US$10M. The Group’s major business is Research and Development, Production and Distribution of Generic Drugs and Health Food Products. Company Business 　　Being a pharmaceutical group with it’s core business in R&D and transformation of generic drugs, we have the following abilities to ensure our sustainable growth: Research and Development 　　The group’s wholly owned laboratory, Beijing Mediking Pharmaceutical Technology Company Limited, is responsible for most of the Group’s R&D works. The Group has also co-operate with other famous institutes in China, such as Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Zhongshan University, Lanzhou University, etc. on different R&D projects. Production 　　HKPG’s raw material and intermediates production plant is located in Tianjin and is GMP Certified. The Group has also built up a co-operative relationship with three other raw material manufacturers in case of any special needs. 　　HKPG’s preparation production plant is located in Wuxi. There are two GMP-certified production lines, and are capable to manufacture 6 different forms of preparations. Marketing & Distribution 　　The Group has 5 different but experienced sales teams, in order to satisfy different forms of selling activities. Company Targets HKPG has set its operating targets as followed: 2010: become one of the 30 most profitable pharmaceutical companies in China; 2020: become one of the 10 most profitable pharmaceutical companies in China 2025: become one of the top 30 global suppliers of generic drugs.
